Jetting Personal

Favorite travel memory: “When I was 15, I helped found the Vietnam Service Learning Club. For one of our projects, we visited Pleiku in central Vietnam. When we arrived there, we were very confused as to why kids were running up to us to see and take pictures of our group. Unbeknownst to us, Pleiku barely had any foreign visitors since the Vietnam War. The city felt secluded and stuck-in-time, in the best way possible. It was a very bizarre and beautiful experience where we got to work alongside schools, orphanages, and temples firsthand. It’s still, to this day, one of the most unique places I’ve been to, and I like to think we had a positive impact.”

JetBlue destination he’d like to visit next: Guayaquil, Ecuador
